Darija was always attracted by visual things and surfaces, same as catching or creating moments and narrate them into a tangible form. While her bachelor studies she realized that textiles and clothes are actually the perfect medium to express stories and emotions, because clothes are our tool to wear any character and therefore our gateway to another world. Researching the immateriality and materiality of clothes, and the safe and narrative potential in our garments. She tries to not look at fashion just as a product to protect our biggest organ the skin, more as an own character we exchange with. Exploring this interaction throughout interdisciplinary approaches in the field of fashion, arts, theory and new technologies combined with traditional textile creation processes.
