A snapshot, what does that mean? Generally speaking, it is the capturing of a moment in time in a desired medium. It is the saving of a constellation of different parameters at a certain point in time. This constellation, as seen for example in this picture at this point in time, will never come about again in this form and is therefore something past and can no longer be changed. Nevertheless, it tells everything that has happened up to that point and thus makes the stiff form of a photograph seem alive. We know that many factors had an influence on this photograph: material, weather conditions, the person who threw the shirt in the air and the person who chose the exact second in which to take the picture. It is the documentation of the interaction of different forces, and this is petrified in the photo, like a stone sculpture.
